World Poker Tour Atlantis Resort Spa Casino: Casey McCarrel Takes Top Honors

Casey McCarrell of Lafayette (CA) won the WPT Western Poker Challenge Main Event at the Atlantis Resort Spa Casino. The first place won him $71,517 and took his career winnings to over $400,000. Second place was taken by John Miner, third by Anthony Winters and Reno-resident Steve Brecher made fourth. Three women (Amanda Musumeci, Becky Rocco and Maria Schwartz) reached the final tabel. The ten-day Western Poker Challenge featured a series of tournaments that ended in a two-day Main event. A total of 1,300 people fought for top honors.
